year for the first time "Science City" have promoted, part of the "Futuro Remoto , a new initiative: "Scientist for a Day.
The project was treated in detail by two journalists who came to school and have explained what we were going to see in the next step in cui abbiamo visitato il centro del CNR di Ambiente Marino Costiero.
Il giorno 28/11/2008 quindi la classe 4° B liceo si è recata presso il CNR per approfondire la conoscenza relativa alla geologia marina. La visita inaspettatamente è durata più del previsto anche perché le nostre curiosità erano sempre maggiori e le domande e gli interventi si succedevano a ripetizione. In una prima fase della visita c’è stato un seminario abbastanza complesso in cui i ricercatori ci hanno spiegato il funzionamento delle strumentazioni che usano per le rilevazioni dei fondali marini. Nella seconda parte, quella che più ha attratto la nostra attenzione, questi ricercatori ci hanno guidati nei loro laboratori dove ci hanno spiegato dettagliatamente operation of equipment, we have showed that the sediments are being analyzed, the analysis they do and how they occur. Despite the complexity of the issues the scientists' explanations were clear and complete and have been satisfied our curiosity in this area before unknown to us.
Also we had no idea what it means and what is the job of the researcher. Talking to these researchers has given us the love for their work, made us curious to know and learn new topics that could give an outlet to work in the future some of us.
